Dimitra Papadopoulou (Greek: Δήμητρα Παπαδοπούλου), born 19 July 1962, is a versatile Greek actress, writer, and director. She first captured the public’s attention with her starring role as Dimitra in the beloved television sitcom *Oi Aparadektoi* (1991–1993), a series she also created and penned herself. This dual talent behind and in front of the camera cemented her status as a household name.

Her creative portfolio extends impressively to the stage. Papadopoulou has authored numerous theatrical works, including the popular comedy *O papous exei piesi* (*The Grandfather Has High Blood Pressure*) and *Mana tha pao sto Hollywood* (*Mom, I’m Going to Hollywood*), both well-received in Greek theatre. In recent years, she has deliberately scaled back her television appearances, choosing instead to concentrate on her first love: the live stage. As a director and playwright, she continues to shape contemporary Greek theatre, balancing her legacy as a sitcom star with a dedicated career in dramatic arts.
