Spike eagerly greets a young woman named Jenny, an aspiring jazz dancer, as she drives her red pickup truck through the Needles, California desert. Their daily encounters become a source of joy for Spike. Blending animation and live-action, this special follows their adventures as they explore the stunning desert landscape and enjoy time at a local roller rink. However, chaos ensues when Spike accidentally gets thrown out of the rink and finds himself on the run from nighttime coyote hunters, leading to a wild and unexpected chase through the dark.
