Going Down (1983)
Karli, Jane, Jackie, and Ellen are four friends sharing a cramped life in suburban Sydney, each facing their own struggles—Karli with her middle-class worries, Jane battling alcoholism, Jackie searching for work, and Ellen sticking to her straight-laced ways. When Karli’s father presents her with some cash and a one-way ticket to New York, it seems like a chance for a fresh start. However, when the money mysteriously disappears, the friends embark on an unforgettable last night out, leading them to confront their choices and the bonds that hold them together.
