Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael (1990)
Roxy Carmichael, a former movie star, decides to leave behind Hollywood's glamour and head back to her quaint Ohio hometown for a building dedication. The town of Clyde buzzes with anticipation, especially her ex-boyfriend, Denton Webb, who is now married, and the troubled teen, Dinky Bossetti. An orphan with a vivid imagination, Dinky believes that Roxy is her long-lost mother and hopes the actress will return to claim her.
