Marche à l'ombre (1984)
Two friends, a struggling musician and a perpetually gloomy companion, embark on a journey through Greece and France, ultimately reaching Paris with empty pockets. In the city's underbelly, they navigate life among African immigrants, spending their nights in makeshift homes. Their lives take a turn when they both become infatuated with Mathilde, a captivating blonde dancer. Their shared obsession leads them across the Atlantic to New York, where they hope to win her heart and find their place in the vibrant city.
