Mending the Line (2023)
A wounded Marine, grappling with his experiences in Afghanistan, finds himself at a VA hospital in Montana. There, he encounters a seasoned Vietnam veteran who introduces him to the art of fly fishing. As they bond over shared struggles, the veteran guides the Marine through the healing process, using fishing as a metaphor for coping with deep-seated physical and emotional scars. Through their connection, the Marine begins to navigate his path to recovery, discovering that healing often unfolds in unexpected ways amidst nature’s tranquility.
