Leaving behind everything familiar, a desperate journey begins across Central America, fraught with peril. Crossing borders, trekking through the Arizona desert, and facing violence, one survivor reaches the U.S. only to discover a harsh new reality. Here, they are invisible, grappling with a foreign language and a lack of belonging. Their existence goes unnoticed until a terrifying turn of events leaves them bound and blindfolded, tossed into a room with others. A gun is aimed at their head, and they must plead with loved ones for ransom, confronting the grim reality of being trapped in a nightmare.
