Paper Clips (2004)
Nestled in the mountains of Tennessee, the small town of Whitwell, with a population under two thousand, is primarily white and Christian. In 1998, the students of Whitwell Middle School embarked on a transformative project initiated by their principal, aiming to broaden their understanding of diversity and the profound impact of the Holocaust. Through their efforts, the children sought to honor the victims and educate their community about acceptance and the importance of remembering history. This poignant journey ignites empathy and awareness, bridging gaps in understanding within their homogenous environment.
