Hard to Be a God (2014)
A team of scientists travels to Arkanar, a planet stuck in its medieval era, tasked with guiding its inhabitants towards progress without resorting to violence or lethal measures. Among them, Rumata grapples with the moral complexities of his role, striving to protect the local intellectuals from persecution. As he navigates the challenges of this primitive society, Rumata finds himself increasingly drawn into their struggles, forcing him to confront the ethical implications of his non-interventionist mission.
