Community Service (2013)
JD Stevens (JD Lawrence), a struggling actor and playwright in New York, is devoted to helping his friends. His loyalty is challenged when he steps in to represent his best friend, Sylvester (Buddy Lewis), in traffic court. What starts as a minor $25 ticket spirals out of control, resulting in a hefty sentence of 5,000 hours of community service at a local center. To make matters worse, the center is managed by the judge's irritable uncle, Bishop Nixon (Clifton Powell), turning JD's already complicated situation into an even bigger headache.
