While Assumpta enjoys a getaway in London, Niamh struggles to manage the pub alone, overwhelmed by the demands of motherhood. To ease her burden, she accepts help from Ambrose's mother, Imelda. Meanwhile, Brian is determined to secure a business partnership with Korean investors for BallyK, but he needs the entire community's support, which raises concerns for Brendan about potential exploitation of the children. Although the Koreans are initially impressed, Brian ultimately loses the deal, jeopardizing his finances and facing bankruptcy. Despite this setback, the 1950s-themed party at Padraig's ballroom turns out to be a resounding success.
