S1E8 The Good, the Bad and the Dead

A tipsy soldier takes off in a chaplain's jeep, bringing along a Vietnamese hooker for a wild ride. They narrowly avoid a collision with a jeep full of MPs, who quickly pursue him. Zeke witnesses the chaos and recognizes the driver as Decker, his former drill sergeant and idol. Anderson intervenes, saving Decker from a likely second court-martial, and brings him into the squad without consulting Goldman first. The troops take a liking to Decker, but he soon begins to disregard orders. While on a listening post with Horn to monitor enemy movements, Decker gets drunk and dozes off, putting Horn's life in jeopardy.
