During a time of agricultural hardship, a businessman seeks to acquire every farm in Smallville. Curious about his motives, Mr. Kent investigates the situation. However, Kenderson, the businessman, has ulterior motives and attempts to silence Mr. Kent permanently. Fortunately, his plan fails, leaving Mr. Kent determined to uncover the truth behind Kenderson's mysterious agenda.
