On Buck Rogers' 534th birthday, Wilma and Dr. Huer decide to throw a surprise party to lift the spirits of their homesick friend. To keep Buck occupied, Wilma arranges for him to join Dr. Huer's assistant on a trip to New Detroit, where they'll review the doctor's agenda. Meanwhile, a vengeful man is scheming to take down Dr. Huer and tries to infiltrate the assistant to steal the schedule, aiming to set a trap for the doctor.
