Dr. Karbunkle invents a machine that causes inflation, transforming Greasepit into a colossal figure. From his new vantage point, he becomes infatuated with Charley, who is stuck in a mound of grease. In an effort to win her over, he showers her with flowers and recites poetry. However, despite his heartfelt gestures, Charley ultimately turns him down.
