The Doctor, Sarah Jane, and Scorby find themselves cornered in the manor as the malevolent Chase hunts them down inside. Meanwhile, the enormous Krynoid looms outside, poised to crush them. To make matters worse, the alien plant is on the brink of germination, threatening to scatter its seeds all over England.
