S1E1 The Wager

Title: The Bet Plot: Willy Fog recruits Rigodon, a once-famous circus artist, to take the place of the butler he let go just the day before, unknowingly bringing in Rigodon's companion, Tico, as well. Soon after, Fog shares with his peers at London's Reform Club about an intriguing article he came across, claiming that one can circumnavigate the globe in just eighty days. To challenge the doubts of his friends, he stakes half of his £40,000 fortune on the audacious claim that he can complete the journey in that time frame.
