Bayleaf and Claire visit a restaurant they are considering purchasing with her funds. Meanwhile, Nick and his team conduct a fire safety inspection at a venue that has recently been converted into a nightclub. Billy strikes up a conversation with one of the dancers, Lauren. After Sally turns down Kevin's renewed interest, he lashes out at Billy over a minor comment. Jean declares war on Sicknote's dog, insisting he take it to the station for his next shift so she can get some rest. Hallam tries to smooth things over with Pearce regarding the Patti incident, while Kevin moves into a houseboat, where Billy drops by with Lauren. During their night shift, Blue Watch responds to a house fire caused by kids operating an illegal radio station on the roof. Two of the children become trapped in an elevator, forcing the firefighters to battle the flames while dealing with rowdy youths who obstruct their efforts and steal equipment.
