In the initial qualifying round, host Jonathan Bennett puts teams of pumpkin carvers, cake decorators, and sugar artists to the test, urging them to craft eerie displays inspired by the darker themes of classic fairy tales. Judges Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira will evaluate the creations and determine which two teams will move forward in the competition, while one team's fairy tale journey concludes.
