Seventeen-year-old Kara Kopetsky fails to return home from school one afternoon, sending her family into a state of alarm. Fearing the worst, they suspect something sinister may have happened. As unsettling hints begin to emerge, the search for Kara stumbles, leaving investigators without solid leads. Then, a month later, the community is shaken again when another local teenage girl disappears, reigniting the urgency to find out what happened to Kara.
