Jules, a woman who chose marriage and motherhood in her twenties, now finds herself in her forties as a newly divorced woman eager to explore the dating world she skipped. With encouragement from her friend Laurie, a vibrant younger co-worker, Jules is ready to embrace new adventures. She also has Ellie, her witty friend happily married to her charming but ordinary husband Andy. Jules navigates her complicated family dynamics with her ex-husband Bobby and her son Travis, who often challenges her patience.
