Alex shares with Nikita that Division has assigned her a critical first mission: to eliminate the leader of a criminal organization. Despite her reservations about taking a life, Nikita reassures her and offers support for the task. Meanwhile, Birkhoff alerts Percy and Michael after uncovering a shell program that a mole within Division has been using to contact Nikita. When the mission takes an unexpected turn, Nikita makes a hasty choice to protect Alex's reputation. In the Division, Jayden tries to expose Alex as the mole, but Thom intervenes, resulting in a startling incident that clears her name.
