While traveling on a cargo ship bound for the Philippines, Blade sets sail from Kobe Harbor, determined to track down Deacon Frost. Onboard, he crosses paths with Makoto, a young vampire hunter with a personal vendetta. Unbeknownst to Blade, she has her sights set on him as her next target.
