Saul's paranoia about David's rising influence intensifies as Ahinoam suggests a risky solution to his troubles. To demonstrate David's loyalty and secure Mychal’s hand in marriage, Saul commands him to annihilate a Philistine forge and personally slay a hundred foes. At the same time, Jonathan grapples with the realization that he may never ascend to the throne. Achish seizes a chance to gain an advantage.
