A ruthless gossip columnist comes into possession of a mysterious diary that ominously scribes its own chilling entries before anything happens. Count Dracula makes a stop at a blood bank. Meanwhile, a quirky farmer teases a group of boys with the prospect of a "big surprise" if they dig for it. In the midst of discrediting old cults, a scholar foolishly ridicules the wrong deity.
