In "The End," Dean rejects Sam's attempts to assist him in confronting the Devil. He then awakens five years later in a desolate future, where the world has descended into chaos. Lucifer has initiated his ultimate plan by releasing a virus that turns humans into zombies, leaving Dean to navigate this dystopian landscape alone.
