Dexter's situation is escalating quickly: Doakes is becoming increasingly suspicious of him, his intended victims are slipping through his fingers, and the location where he disposes of bodies has been discovered. At the same time, Rita is stressed by Paul’s concerns about a lost shoe, while Debra is struggling with the emotional fallout from the Ice Truck Killer case.
