The tale of Batman takes an intriguing twist when the Dark Knight disappears from the troubled streets of New Gotham, leaving his legacy in the hands of three tenacious heroines known as the Birds of Prey. Once Batgirl, Barbara Gordon is now confined to a wheelchair after a brutal assault by The Joker. Reinventing herself as Oracle, she mentors Helena Kyle, Batman and Catwoman's secret daughter, who emerges as the fierce Huntress. Alongside Dinah, a teenage runaway lured to the city by her meta-human visions, they join forces with the sole honest cop, Detective Jesse Reese, to confront a dangerous madwoman intent on their demise.
