After a pivotal handshake with Naoto, Takemichi finds himself back in the present day, where he meets Naoto, who has become a police officer. Naoto urges Takemichi to journey back in time once more to stop the leaders of the Tokyo Manji Gang from crossing paths, aiming to alter the course of their destructive fate.
