PJ's unit engages in a mission to liberate the ISIS-controlled city of Al-Shaddadi, but once more, they find themselves caught in intense combat. Frustrated, PJ decides to return home to the States, leaving Levi and the rest behind. Meanwhile, Jeremiah, feeling trapped in Tennessee, yearns for the battlefield and is eager to head back. As new members join Pete's medical team in anticipation of the looming siege of Mosul in Iraq, each volunteer strives to navigate their chosen paths—though this journey soon leads to a tragic outcome for one of them.
