Samuel MacIntosh decides that Hamish Browne is the perfect match for his daughter Heather, even though they haven’t met yet. Heather is an innocent young woman who believes she can communicate with animals, while Hamish, a rugged country boy, is far more interested in tending to his farm animals than in pursuing any romantic relationships.
