Duke Shannon finds himself in custody of the Cavalry, facing charges of criminal negligence due to his leadership of an ill-fated expedition into the badlands, from which he is the sole survivor. In a bid to clear his name, he is compelled to return to the treacherous terrain alongside the Army and the father of one of the deceased crew members.
