After getting acquainted with Michael’s daughter Alisa, Kim consents to assist Michael in caring for her. Meanwhile, Nikki chooses to rekindle her romance with Kenny after he offers her forgiveness. Preoccupied with thoughts of Nikki, Stanley seeks guidance from a therapist, who suggests he might be developing feelings for her. As Kim anxiously awaits Michael's return from work, she learns of an oil rig explosion, raising concerns about Michael's safety and leaving her solely responsible for Alisa’s care.
