Salem's Lot (1979)

S1E1 Part One

Driven by his ambition to pen a novel about the infamous Marsten House, a dilapidated estate steeped in local legend, established author Ben Mears returns to his hometown of Salem's Lot, Maine, after many years. Upon his arrival, he finds that the house is now occupied by the enigmatic Richard Straker and his mysterious partner, Kurt Barlow. Their presence coincides with a series of strange disappearances and alarming fatalities, leading the anxious residents to suspect both Mears and the newcomers. As tension rises, the town grapples with the dark forces lurking within Salem's Lot.
