S2E2 Trust

Monica, a new police officer, is assigned to work with Zack, who is returning to the force after recovering from a gunshot wound. Zack has requested a different partner, leaving his former partner, Ben, feeling resentful. As the story unfolds, we discover Zack's struggle with a pill addiction. During a drug bust involving a dealer named Mason, Zack impulsively takes some of the drugs. His unpredictable behavior leads him to miss Mason's preliminary hearing, allowing Mason to go free, resulting in an attack on a teenage girl. Haunted by memories of his shooting, Zack is filled with anxiety until Monica encourages him, suggesting that faith can protect him better than any armor. Together, they manage to apprehend Mason, and with newfound faith, Zack confronts his addiction and begins to mend his relationship with his wife.
