Joe Greene makes his way back to his brother Russell’s house, where his son is staying. During the journey, he gets into a car accident that tragically results in the deaths of two individuals and leaves a child hospitalized. He chooses to keep this devastating incident to himself. The story continues in the crossover episode of Promised Land S02E01, titled The Road Home (II).
