Maxine wants to celebrate her anniversary by surprising Kenny with Jon B. concert tickets and a weekend trip to San Francisco. However, her plans are thrown into chaos when she discovers a letter from Lila hinting at an affair between them. Meanwhile, Bird encounters a female customer who makes a flirtatious advance. On another front, Damon seeks Teri's support after Christine shares the news of her pregnancy, but things take a tragic turn when he ends their relationship and she takes her own life.
