Jane's mother, Elaine, seeks Jane's assistance to defend a girl she once babysat, who stands accused of murdering another teenager. Frustrated with Luke's behavior, Parker turns to Grayson for help in courting Gina Blunt as a possible investor for the firm, despite Teri's objections regarding her. Meanwhile, Teri and Stacy stumble upon some troubling information about Owen, which leaves Jane heartbroken.
