Dedicated horseman John cares deeply for his shire horses, Richard and George, residing in the stables he constructed near Grimsby. With shires becoming increasingly rare, John worries about their survival. To highlight their exceptional traits and secure some rosettes, he competes at the Heckington Show in Lincolnshire, with assistance from his friend Terri, who is showcasing her skills for the first time.
