With rising tensions stemming from a surge in deaths, Glynn gathers Schibetta, Saïd, and Keane, warning them to maintain order within their factions or face a lockdown of the prison. The atmosphere becomes even more charged after a visit from Governor Devlin, the architect behind the prohibitions on smoking and conjugal visits, further exacerbating the unrest among the inmates.
