Adam's hopes of bringing Echo to the school dance are dashed when Principal Tater steps in. Eager to catch the infamous prankster known as the "Gagmeister General," Tater enlists Adam's help for a covert operation. At the same time, Ivy seeks to rally support for her bid for Dance Queen by choosing Derby as her date, hoping to win over the crowd with a sympathetic story.
