The Holograms, the Misfits, and Shawn Harrison, the British teen heartthrob Kimber met during The World Hunger Shindig, find themselves in Venice Beach. The Holograms are set to appear on Harriet Horne's renowned gossip show. While they believe they lack scandalous material, Jetta takes it upon herself to snatch Kimber's diary and leaks its contents. The tabloids sensationalize the situation, claiming that Kimber is infatuated with Shawn, who supposedly doesn't reciprocate her feelings. Kimber must muster her strength to confront the ensuing controversy and prove her resilience amidst the chaos.
