Six years ago, while he was leading the New Orleans Police Department, Marcus investigated a ritualistic murder that was never solved. Now, in the present day, he seeks Frank's assistance to tackle a new murder that bears striking similarities to the old case. However, the investigation becomes more complicated when the victim's cousin goes missing, and it turns out Marcus had been romantically involved with her.
