Michael feels a surge of jealousy as Eric starts to show interest in Megan. Meanwhile, Kyle and Taylor are faced with losing their restaurant lease in Boston. Taylor finds out she’s not expecting, and during a heated argument with Amanda at the jazz club, she accidentally falls down the stairs. Michael informs Kyle about Taylor's miscarriage, leaving Amanda filled with guilt and encouraging Kyle to spend more time with Taylor. In a twist, Michael steals a cauterizing glove concept from Brett. He and Jennifer manage to persuade Craig to stay and fund their project instead of leaving on a cruise. Lexi reveals to Peter that Brett developed feelings for Kimberly while she was in a coma and later cheated with her. Peter digs into Brett's files to support Lexi's divorce case. In Los Angeles, Samantha tracks down Billy, who offers her a position at Amanda's agency, and they end up getting engaged.
