After undergoing brain surgery, a man finds himself with complete amnesia, unable to recall his past from one day to the next. Meanwhile, a determined scientist pushes the boundaries of his research in an effort to validate his theory and potentially save lives. However, a minor mistake during an experiment with the core of an atomic bomb inadvertently unleashes a surge of radiation.
