S1E12 The Best You Can Do

With Jinzaburou missing, the Tsushima forces struggle against the relentless Mongol army. Sana, alongside Teruhi and a small group, ventures into the forest seeking refuge in a concealed cave. Simultaneously, Amushi creates a diversion by detonating a bomb in the Mongol camp but loses his life during the escape. The Mongols soon discover the group, eliminating Kaitani Gontar and decimating the remaining Tsushima fighters. In a desperate act, Kano heartbreakingly kills Teruhi to spare her from capture but sacrifices himself as a decoy. As Jinzaburou sinks underwater, memories from four years prior awaken him, leading him to the final battle. He confronts the Mongol commander, Ryuu Fukuk?, and after a fierce clash, disarms him. As the Mongols prepare to advance towards Kyushu, Teruhi emerges from her hiding place to find Jinzaburou,
