S1E1 Decision

Following the tragic death of Police Captain William Boone's wife, he is approached to join the Taelons, an alien race that claims to be altruistic and has lived on Earth for three years. To join their ranks, he would need a CVI implant, enhancing his mental capabilities and enabling him to wield a powerful bio-weapon. However, before he can choose, Boone is also contacted by the resistance, a group led by Jonathan Doors that opposes the Taelons. They reveal that the Taelons are deceptive and that the CVI would strip him of his free will. They offer to modify the implant if he agrees to serve both sides. Boone accepts, determined to uncover the true intentions of the Taelons and investigate their potential role in his wife's death.
