Lester, Gladys, and Earl show up for Gladys' screen test. Lester is keen on having Jethro as the director to sabotage her chances of landing the role. Since the film needs three days to be developed, Jed suggests they all stay in the cabin out back. During this time, Gladys keeps Lester busy with chores from morning until night. After three days, Gladys successfully secures the job but ultimately chooses to head back home to Tennessee instead.
