However, Ginger is struck by the realization that she never had the chance to know her own grandmother. She seeks her father's memories to learn more about her. Simultaneously, Hoodsey grapples with his sorrow at Nana's funeral, but things take a turn when his family discovers that he has confined his head with an iron mask.
