His reflections are abruptly interrupted by his mother. Meanwhile, Kumi, Ippo's friend, is eager to chat on the phone with him. Ippo quickly grabs the receiver, and after a shy exchange, the two lovebirds manage to set up a date, excited yet nervous about their upcoming meeting.
